Cleveland Rocks!!!

Okay, well it rocked when we were there last weekend with my mom celebrating her birthday!! :) I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving (Normally I would share all the photos I took on Thanksgiving, but I totally forgot to take some:))

So instead I am going to share with all you some illegal photos from the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame! Teheh, apparently you aren't supposed to take photos while in the hall of fame, but I did..and I am SO PROUD :)

Hope y'all enjoy these photos, I would have tons more...except for the fact I probably would have gotten caught if I took a picture of everything! :)

Addicted to Love

Ah love. The word love has so many many meanings. It is no wonder I am addicted to it. :) Let's face it, love is all around us, whether it is physical, emotional, or even virtual. Yes, I said virtual. I'm talking about all the virtual love being spread over the internet....through all sorts of networks. Of course I mean, yours truly, Facebook. But I must add a few others to this list, because I have grown to love them and became addicted to them :)...and so naturally so should you :D

First there is the IG: Instagram. I truly love it! It is a genius idea and very creative. It is a photo sharing app for the iPhone and iPad.(and I hope the android club one day). It has great filters and I have encountered pretty awesome people .  If you're a picture crazy kind a person, download IG and I highly doubt you'll regret it :)

Next, oh I hate to say it...but I joined the Twitter crew. Ahh I didn't think I ever would, haha but I did. It's totally addicting once you get the hang of it. I just started it, so we will see how goes. So far, so good. And don't hate ;), it's like I am trying a piece of clothing on and so far I like it, but we all know once you get to the register...... that's when it really sets in. :)

And good ole Pinterest. Some of you may already love this site as much as me, but to those that don't:
YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD :) :) :)
It is highly addicting, you might develop the need to pin all the time, and forever think of what you're dreams are. It's awesome, awesome....oh em gee really friggin awesome. It is a virtual pinboard. Oh and you can recreate pins of all kinds...you become a pretty crafy person...just sayin' :)

Let's not forget Blogger. I truly enjoy reading everyone's blogs, it's nice to know I'm not the only person out there who likes to display their lives or talk about nonsense. =) So here's a cheers to all my Blogger's out there, thanks for your kind comments and reads...it's a day brightener for sure :)

Holidaze, Celebrate

Yup, its that time of the year again. Where we get to surround ourselves with love, with food, possibly presents, and all things glittery :)

Next weekend, the 18th, is my mom's birthday. And she is coincidentally going to be in Cleveland that weekend for work, which is only a 4 hour drive for us (as compared to mom's house in SC: 12 hour drive). So we are driving down to celebrate her birthday, and an early Thanksgiving. :) I am so so so SO excited to see my mom! I miss her so much and love that it has worked out for us to see her again. Of course I wish my brother and sisters could come up too, but its just not in the cards :(. However, my mom's bestie, Melinda, lives an hour or so from Cleveland. So she'll be driving over too! It is going to be a great weekend, so once again: STOKED.
My awesome mother and I :)

Next on the calendar is Thanksgiving. And it seems that Zach's family doesn't really celebrate it together, so we were invited *awesome* to both of our co-workers meals. One during the day, and one at night. Super excited to have a classic Thanksgiving meal with some pretty awesome people. And I love to bring food, so now I must figure out what meal I am going to bring, or what dessert :) ?

Next is Christmas! I can't wait to decorate our Christmas tree. It isn't our first, but its our first as a married couple, and its going to include something really special: our guests wishes' from the wedding. We did a guestbook tree and the guests wrote on sand dollars with well wishes and such. We are going to use all of them as ornaments this year, as a reminder of our special day and all of our friends/family that we won't be able to celebrate the holidays with. :) And I will *more than likely* have my first WHITE Christmas:).
This was such a great idea, I'm so glad we did this!

Lastly, New Years! So we have just planned a trip to go to Chicago to ring in the new year. Two of our friends, that we met on our honeymoon cruise, live in Chicago and we are going to visit them! So excited! We met such a great group of people on our honeymoon, so its nice to be able to hang out with all of them again (unfortunately they aren't all in the same city lol)
Our awesome Chicago buds, bro n sis, Becky n Adam

Tehe, too funny! Guess only time will tell! Are you a believer/

I also found this amazing dress on Pinterest, but I cannot find it to buy it!!!! What the french, its just a big tease! Luckily I am pretty crafty, so I am going to find a black dress and make this on my own  :)

Here We Are Now, Entertainers

Well first things first, HAPPY NOVEMBER!!! Holy crap, its almost 2012....where has the time gone?

Zach and I threw a pretty fun Halloween Bash this past Saturday, and we had a pretty good turn out . We decorated, cooked, drank, played beer pong, drank some more...and had a dandy ole' time with our friends! Thanks to eveveryone who came to our first bash, next year will be even better :)

And our costume...well its time to reveal what we were to my fellow bloggers! :)

Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, 90s style

And the Jersey Shore came out! LOL

The Decor :)

Huge Black Widow would not go away!!!! LOL

My favorite part: the food/drinks! I became Martha Stewart on Saturday and invented something very creative! Except it wasn't on purpose :)
I made jello using vodka and jello.
I poured it in ice cube trays.
Took out of the trays thinking they would be shot like,...was wrong.
Put them in the freezer

And voila! Chopped liver :)
They were awesome looking, so I called them Blob shots: but it actually resembled chopped liver! :)

I also baked homemade cinnamon roasted almonds, mummified pigs in a blanket, and  made"Bloody Marys" (except I hate tomato juice so it was frozen strawberries, vodka, and lemonade ...looked pretty bloooody)

I love Halloween. Actually I love holidays. They are so much fun...how could one not love the holidays? Next is Thanksgiving...mmm fooooodd.

PS: Can you guess which song the title of my blog is from ? Just reference our costumes:)
